Las Vegas is mostly known for its casinos. And to be honest, for those who are not so much into gambling, the place doesn’t look too attractive. But before you dismiss the place, let me tell you that there are other things to enjoy in Las Vegas.

1. Watch shows.
Visitors can book tickets to watch concert artists like Celine Dion at Caesars Palace or witness daring and colorful performances by The Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil. If you’re up for a night of entertainment, you should definitely book tickets to see a show or two when in Vegas.

2. Enjoy amusement park rides.
Here’s the surprising thing about Vegas: the casinos have family-friendly attractions. You might want to check out Circus Circus or Stratosphere for adventurous rides that will give you an adrenaline rush.

3. Check out the exhibitions.
If you’re the museum-loving type, I suggest you check out the Discovery Children’s Museum, Nevada State Museum, The Neon Museum, and more. The Venetian and other hotels also hosts exhibitions featuring works from famous artists and photographers.

4. Go on a nature trip.
The Grand Canyon is quite far from Vegas but visitors can book helicopter rides to see the glorious sight even for just a short time. You can also visit nearby sites like Red Rock, Hoover Dam, and Lake Mead. If you’re tired of all the flashing lights, escape the city for half a day and enjoy nature.

5. Indulge in good food.
After a day of touring, reward yourself with a buffet dinner at The Strip and you won’t be disappointed. Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan, Bellagio Buffet, Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars, are some of the famous places where visitors and locals dine. When in Vegas, you must stuff yourself with great food. It’s a must.

If you’re not into wasting your hard-earned cash for betting, there are a hundred and one ways for you to enjoy the city. Bring your friends and family along for a memorable trip. Give Las Vegas a chance and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
